The Griffin Law Charitable Foundation was created by our founder to support national and international charities that fit with the Foundation’s ethos and pre-established requirements. Each month, the trustees of the Foundation meet to discuss how to dispense up to £1,000 to good works that may benefit from our funding.
Coppafeel
Jess Walton is an assistant manager at Sargeant Partnership, a client of Griffin Law’s sister firm, HRx. Jess is embarking on an epic trek in June, a 100km walk over five days in the Brecon Beacons with 120 other people for the charity Coppafeel, which, as the risqué name suggests, is a breast cancer awareness charity.
This challenge is very personal to Jess who has been sharing her story with KentOnline, about how her husband Matt was diagnosed with breast cancer at 28 and passed away due to complications at 32.

POW Thanet
The POW Thanet mission is to provide access to the arts and creativity to all Thanet community members, especially women, girls and non-binary people in all their diversity.
Our donation will provide a Youth Mentor to lead weekly mentoring with young people who are neurodiverse and at risk of social isolation. The sessions build their life skills and work readiness with a bespoke work plan, introduction to creative networks and support in project delivery.

Save the Children
Lance is running the London Marathon in support of Save the Children. He has raised £322 of his £1,760 target thus far and will be holding a charity quiz later in March to add to the money raised.
In the UK and around the world, Save the Children makes sure children remain safe, healthy, and learning. They have helped 45 million children across the world get the medicine, good food, and education they need.

Porchlight
‘CEO Sleepout Kent’ is where business leaders sleep rough to help raise money to fight against poverty and homelessness. Porchlight works with people who are living on the streets, in supported housing and in local communities. Its hostels are more than just buildings. They are a safe haven for people who have spent night after night frightened and alone on the streets. They are a fresh start for those who have experienced unimaginable trauma and want to rebuild their lives.
Porchlight requires donations as it needs to keep hostels open and protect the people who live in them. It needs to ensure they remain for people who become homeless in the future.
