The Griffin Law Charitable Foundation was created by our Founder to support national and international charities that fit with the Foundation’s ethos and pre-established requirements. Each month, the trustees of the Foundation meet to discuss how to dispense up to £1,000 to good works that may benefit from our funding.
RBLI – www.rbli.co.uk
RBLI provides family homes, specialised care, places of work, and rehabilitation to hundreds of veterans who have fallen on difficult times, due to their physical or mental health, many of whom were impacted by their time in the forces and then triggered by big life changes.
Last summer, RBLI was a victim of crime and it now needs to replace a large proportion of the outdoor furniture by its Basecamp Café which was vandalised. Its immediate focus now lies in installing durable and vandal-proof amenities, such as benches, picnic benches, bins, and disabled access picnic tables, within this outside designated area. It is looking to fund 6 vandal proof replacement picnic tables.

Pilgrims Hospices – https://www.pilgrimshospices.org
Pilgrims delivers care throughout Kent at its three inpatient units in Canterbury, Thanet and Ashford. The Community Team delivers care in patients’ own homes. The Hospice at Home Team delivers end of life care in the last 72 hours of life when a patient wishes to die at home.
It is currently running its Bed Appeal, seeking funds to replace 36 hospice beds, 12 at each of its hospice sites. Due to wear and tear over the past ten years, beds are now at the end of their functional lifespan. As a result, Pilgrims has created a replacement programme to secure funding from voluntary sources. Pilgrims is looking to purchase three folding side rail sets which will be used across three beds.
